KAY GARDNER

LEGACY BURDEN RETREAT WITH KAY GARDNER

Most people carry burdens from the past, but what if some burdens weren’t yours to begin with? What if some of them belonged to someone else who came before you in your generational line? What if you internalised a burden from your parent who in turn inherited it from their parent and so on. These burdens are referred to as Legacy Burdens and most of us have them. However, the good news is that they can be easily unburdened once identified as “not ours, not created from our own life experiences, and, in fact inherited.

Join us for this fantastic 5-day residential retreat where Kay Gardner, senior Lead Trainer for Internal Family Systems (IFS) and an expert in Legacy Burdens, will help you explore, identity and work with you Legacy Burdens.

EMBRACING POLARIZATIONS: A PATH TOWARD INNER AND OUTER HEALING

At its core, the Internal Family Systems Model is a relational model and provides a framework for working with polarizations within and between people.  It is impossible to work with any given part of ourselves without also working with other parts.

IFS provides both a framework to better understand how systems become polarized, and an effective means of healing divides.

On this retreat, participants will have opportunities to work with polarizations existing within their internal system and polarizations with others.
