FROM EMPTINESS TO EMBODIMENT:
AN IFS-BASED APPROACH TO
HEALING NEGLECT WITH JENNY FIEBIG, LPC
January 29 & 30 and February 5 & 6, 2027

Workshop Description
This 4-session experiential workshop is designed for therapists who want to deepen their understanding of how emotional childhood neglect shapes internal systems and impacts adult clients.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) as the primary framework, participants will explore how neglect creates protective patterns, reinforces nervous system dysregulation, and leads to chronic emotional disconnection.
Through a combination of teaching, guided IFS explorations, and somatic practices, this workshop provides a deeply experiential learning environment. Therapists will engage with their own internal systems while also gaining practical tools for working with clients who struggle with emptiness, dissociation, and relational disconnection due to neglect. Instruction methods will include a dynamic mix of didactic instruction, experiential exercises, recorded demos and small group breakout sessions.
WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?
This workshop is ideal for therapists, counselors, and healing professionals familiar with IFS who want to expand their capacity to work with clients impacted by emotional neglect. It is especially suited for those working with:
-
Trauma & Attachment Issues
-
Dissociation & Emotional Numbing
-
Shame, Perfectionism & People-Pleasing
-
Clients Struggling with Emotional Disconnection
Through this immersive experience, therapists will not only enhance their clinical skills but also deepen their own self-awareness—helping them show up more fully in their work with clients. This is not an introduction to IFS, so basic concepts & language will be assumed.
PLEASE NOTE: For IFS Level 1-2-3 trained professionals, 20 IFSI CE Credits have been requested and are awaiting approval.

What the participants from our previous retreats had to say about
From Neglect to Connect' a wonderful and hopeful workshop-experience with Jenny that needs attention of all trauma-healers. Tessa-the Netherlands
An all-around fantastic experience. Jenny Fiebig's online workshop on neglect was informative, engaging, and fostered amazing connections among participants while accommodating multiple learning styles. I am deeply appreciative to Souliology for creating such wonderful spaces and opportunities.
I learned so much from Jenny's Neglect workshop, both in terms of the IFS shifts needed to work with clients who have experienced neglect, and my use of self as the therapist working with these clients. Jenny has a welcoming and warm presence that helped to create a very safe container for my learning. Marta, Canada
This workshop on neglect was eye-opening and validating on so many levels. Jenny’s down to earth way of presenting material and her open heartedness toward all participants made it a very safe and comfortable space. Lynn USA
Thanks to Jenny, Anne, and the Souliology Team for this wonderful workshop!

This workshop was exceptional -- in content, for sure, but also in the way that it moved participants through different experiences: meditation, lecture, break-outs to process in dyads, in large groups. There was plenty of time to ask questions AND THINK TOGETHER. The technical aspects of the zoom experience were flawless. The chat was helpful to channel both questions/thoughts and deliver handouts and links to references to folks right away. The break out rooms and communication around them -- seamless. I was highly impressed. Thank you for all you do! I will be back for more trainings through Souliology!
Bethany, NYC, USA
Jenny did a wonderful job broadening my lens of neglect which has allowed me to understand some of my client's more and have a stronger idea of what is happening within their internal system.
This was such an incredibly helpful workshop. I could take it over 3 to 4 times and still learn.
