COURAGEOUS COMMUNICATION: STAYING THE COURSE DURING DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS
WITH TONI HERBINE BLANK

Courageous Communication: Staying the Course During Difficult Conversations -
Build Bridges, Not Isolated Islands -
A 2-Day Workshop with Toni Herbine Blank - May 11 & 12, 2026.
Workshop Description
Courageous Communication allows us to stay the course during difficult conversations so we can build bridges with people and not build isolated islands to protect ourselves.
Difficult conversations are often shaped by fear—fear of conflict, misunderstanding, rejection, or causing harm. When these fears arise, our nervous system and protective parts can take over, making it hard to listen openly, speak clearly, or stay connected to ourselves and others.
U-turns to Re-turns, are a relational strategy for staying Self-led during emotionally charged and polarized conversations.
What to expect …..
During this 2-Day online workshop, participants will learn how to turn inward first—regulating vulnerable and protective parts shaped by fears of conflict—before re-engaging with greater clarity, steadiness, and curiosity.
This workshop is for anyone seeking to stay present and engaged in difficult conversations, building bridges rather than retreating into isolated islands.

Learning Objectives....
In addition to what we have outlined above, here is what you can also expect....
-
Through lecture and experiential exercises, you will learn what happens in your nervous system during conversations that feel threatening.
-
We'll explore how to stay regulated, unblended, and maintain self-leadership in the face of challenge
-
You'll learn the art of courageous communication, ultimately making it easier to listen courageously and speak authentically while staying connected with yourself and with others during important and difficult conversations.
-
We'll explore self-led boundaries
-
We'll delve in to authentic repair
